South Carolina Attorney General’s Office Announces Silent Tears Donation to Various Organizations

(Seneca, SC)——The South Carolina Attorney General’s office has announced that Silent Tears plans to donate $5 million dollars to fund capital needs of organizations statewide that assist victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.

Silent Tears, according to a press release from the Attorney General’s office, was formed to systematically address the complex issues associated with child sexual abuse.

Among the organizations who received the first round of grant monies, they include Foothills Alliance, who received $20,000 and the Pickens County Advocacy Center, who received $10,000.
