CASA/Family Systems is a private, not-for-profit organization that serves Bamberg, Calhoun and Orangeburg counties with a primary focus on providing support, advocacy and intervention to individuals and families who have been affected by sexual assault, family violence, and/or child abuse and neglect.
Silent Tears granted the organization $50,000 for mortgage relief on the Edisto Children’s Center. The funding will pay off the monthly mortgage, allowing CASA/Family Systems to reinvest that money to build capacity for service delivery.
On October 30, 2019, Silent Tears awarded an additional $80,000 for the organization’s needs during a third round of grants.
