The mission of the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County is to provide a safe environment and supportive services that promote healing to abused children and their families through intervention, treatment and prevention.
The organization serves Aiken, Barnwell, Edgefield, McCormick and Bamberg counties.
Silent Tears gave the organization $21,000 for new carpet and laminate flooring. An additional $5,000 grant will help fund renovations that helped the organization increase the amount of usable space in the building and increase security.
