Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties, Inc. opened in 1996 as a nonprofit organization to provide services to children who have been sexually abused and/or severely physically abused.

The organization’s mission is to heal and give voice to abused children through assessment, treatment, education, and community partnerships.

Silent Tears gave the organization $10,000 to replace carpet in four forensic interview rooms, an observation room, three therapy rooms and a therapist office.

On October 30, 2019, Silent Tears awarded an additional $11,000 for the organization’s needs during a third round of grants.
