Hopeful Horizons is a children’s advocacy, domestic violence and rape crisis center in Beaufort, S.C.
The center provides safety, hope and healing to survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault through evidence-based practices and lead in ending abuse through primary prevention and education.
Silent Tears granted Hopeful Horizons $35,000 to help fund start-up costs associated with upfitting the Family Justice Center – including the installation of video cameras for the forensic interview room and IT needs.
On October 30, 2019, Silent Tears awarded an additional $50,000 for the organization’s needs during a third round of grants.
